Power supply

A whole heap more powers

Went for a walk, came up with a bunch more rules that can be selected from/shuffled in at random to allow more variation in play (Dominion supply style).

Sea/amphibian critters (approx L2-3)

An addition to your place a critter step, once per turn either:

  • place a critter in the ocean
  • move a critter from the ocean to a connecting tile with an empty biome

They cannot be sacrificed probs.

Extra bountiful (~L2)

Collect up to 8 resources

Flying critters (~L2-3)

During your move a critter step, you may relocate a critter to any free biome

Pack critters (~L3-4)

Team up your critters to make a hunting pack. Activate this power during your move a critter step by moving a critter onto a biome you already control, now this pack may move during the ‘Move a critter’ step onto any connecting biome, wiping out opponent critters. Moving a pack counts as moving 1 x critter.

Herding critters (~L3-4)

Team up your critters to make a defensive herd. Activate this power during your move a critter step by moving a critter onto a biome you already control, this herd generate 1x bonus resource or 1 bonus pt per pack size or both. They can only be overwhelmed by a pack size 1 greater than them (e.g. 2 x herd overwhelmed by 3 x pack critters). Moving a herd counts as moving 1 x critter.

Resourceful critters (~L3-L4)

(cheap resource sacrifice)

Landites (L4)

Like crafty critters but you can buy and place a second tile anywhere (extra land tile)

Thieving critters (L2)

Roll like a d4 to determine whether you get to steal 1 resource from every person

Sea volcano (L2-3)

Summon a volcano directly in the sea, allowing a dual ash tile to play

Rift (L2?)

Split a whole damn island in half once off maybe but can be used whenever (including end game)

Erosion

You may remove an empty tile from the game before your ‘Claim all empty tiles’ step.

Converging plates

Smoosh a whole tile?Island? Once off maybe but can be used whenever (including end game)

Subglacial volcano

Something something maybe you can’t set off a cheap volcano on a tall peak

Volcanic winter

Ends the game by choking everyone’s critters out or something

Super sacrifices

All sacrifices are worth 2-3pts at the end of the game
