Ah bollocks

So something is broken

Bluewash

So I played another 2p playtest and it went horribly wrong. Blue won out far too quickly, it didn’t feel like red made any particularly wrong steps. That didn’t seem too fun.

In good news, it was fairly quick ending as blue could set off a super volcanic eruption.

  • Bountiful Resources
  • Crafty Critters
  • Cooperative Critters
  • Volcanic Migration
  • Super Volcanic Eruption

Kept on playing volcanos on volcanic soil tiles.

Cooperative critters really stamped the foot on the neck.

I’m wondering if volcanoes should be more expensive.

Power weighting

  • Bountiful resources - allows multiple 2 point turn manoeuvres
  • Crafty critters - powers up your volcanos, enabling building on these areas to get +2c + 2r per turn
  • Colossal critters - powers up your critters to 3 extra points (one off). Maybe should be double resources too?
  • Volcanic migration allows the staying power
  • Supervolcanic ends game + up to 6 bonus attack

A good thing to have an example for

A good time to sacrifice for red
